Dr. Georg Riegel studied physics and chemistry in Chile, Germany and Canada. He worked as an independent management consultant and then as head of environmental research at Daimler. In 2003, he founded the deZem GmbH which he leads as CEO since its first days. |
Dennis Engberding studied physics and computer science in Germany and Britain. As the technical project manager, he is responsible for the creation of customized concepts of energy controlling in the industrial sector. Furthermore, he coordinates our software development team using modern team techniques. |
Robert Baumeister studied international affairs and development politics in Germany and Finland. Political foundations, the European Parliament and business consultancies were stations in his professional career. He is deZems head of marketing and responsible for developing and supervising projects in the public sector. |

Her studies of business administration and economics in Dresden as well as her profound knowledge in administration and customer support enable Maria Melle to be an excellent team assistant. |
After his studies in historical science, Elko Lerche worked as a coordinator at an interdisciplinary research center. He supports deZem with his knowledge in marketing and public relations. |
Martin Rhode is electrician and state-approved technician in electrical engineering. He is the technical manager at deZem and therefore responsible for hardware installations, quality assurance and development of components. |

Dr. Cornelia Kappler studied physics in Germany, the United States and Canada. At NEC, Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks she worked on the conception of future communication networks. She has published scientific articles, lead international research projects, wrote patents and held lectures at different universities. She works as a consultant for deZem, developing technology concepts, leading research projects as well as coordinating the technical development and designing processes. |
Alexander Schuch studied computer engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. At deZem, he mainly focuses on the development of our software modules for server applications. |
Noé Villegas studied process engineering and power engineering in his home country Mexico. As an employee of the Mexican National Commission for Energy Conservation he focused on energy efficiency of buildings. At deZem, he develops and supervises our projects in many Latin American countries. |

Paula Hightower began her career in web design and development in her hometown of Los Angeles, California. She brings several years of experience in this field to the team. She works as a frontend developer at deZem. |
For his thesis in computer engineering at the Berlin Technical University, Torben Förster developed a device to read out sensors under difficult climatic conditions. He is responsible for major parts of our server side software development. |
Yakup Karahan studied media computer science in Berlin. He is in charge of the development of user interfaces and of our attractive data visualizations based on flex techniques. |

Following his apprenticeship in electric engineering, Erik Lawrenz gained experience in low and high voltage current, metering methods and in event installations. His task is the preparation and installation of deZem-technology on-site. |
Mathias Kunert studied computer engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. At deZem, he is a cornerstone of the software development. He is primarily concerned with the conception and development of software for embedded systems and for powerful servers. |
