Dr. Georg Riegel studied in Chile, Germany and Canada Biochemistry, Physics, Biology und Quantumphotochemistry (PhD).
As a leader of the Environmental Research for DaimlerChrysler AG team of experts working as "Futurologists", he became aware of the acute need of achieving energy transparency in all sectors of the society. In 2002 he founded deZem GmbH, which now has projects nationally and internationally providing internet oriented technology and real time energy metering and visualization.
His central professional interests focus on the theoretical and practical development of a gateway between economy and environment, finding the right terms and conditions for an alignment of socially defined goals for both the economy and environment.

Hanno Fietz has been with deZem since 2002 and participated in the early pilot projects.
Having studied architecture, he today has more interest in talking about data base structure, usability or the advantages and disadvantages of different programme languages. As for designing a building, his plan is to develop a software that will take care of this for him.

Dr. Sebastian Bognár studied IC-technology and applied physics in Germany (PhD).
At the Technische Universität Berlin he worked in the Institutes of
Microelectronic and Solid State Physics.
Sebastian is fascinated by the application of modern sensor technics and information technology in favour of the environment. Since April 2005 he is working for deZem.

Alexander Bögle studied in Germany, Italy and the USA Economic Psychology and Business Adminstration.
He has gathered professional experience with Siemens Business Services (SBS), in the German parliament and as consultant. Alex has for long supported the development of sustainable energy politics, in this regard energy efficiency plays a particularly appealing role. He has been working for deZem since August 2006.
