The members of the deZem team have a background in university research and the idea of the company as such was developed within industrial research. It is no wonder that we are very much interested in seeing our technology being put to use in challenging research projects.

| Our technology: a tool for research | |
|
The no-limits tracking of empirical data via Internet, in real time, can constitute a valuable instrument for research teams across the globe. This is regardless of the kind of data to be monitored, since almost everything can be metered!
By way of a "sweet" example, here is a graph representing the changes in weight of our company beehive over time.  It is possible to zoom into the curve with enough detail to observe how many bees leave the hive every morning between 5 and 6 am in the search of nectar, and how effective that search is during the day. It is possible to correlate the weight details with temperature and other measurements inside and outside of the beehive. It is astounding how much you can learn from those correlations over long periods of time. |

deZem's technology is adequate for providing broad-scale overviews or transparency in minute detail, and in a great number of areas for both a non-expert audience as for people with a technical background. In the context of studies measuring the effectiveness of feedback on energy consumption for example, our technology can be used as a valuable tool for psychologists and social scientists.
